Small businesses provide substantial employment opportunities, make local economies vibrant, contribute susbstantially to the tax base, both local and state, enable larger companies to operate by providing critical service, and are nimble and innovate. These are just some of the ways small business contribute substantially to the local and state of Illinois economy.
The people of Illinois need and deserve a government that honors this critical component of our economy with consistently good policy and a healthy infrastructure. Everyone in Illinois depends either directly or indirectly on the small business community to be vibrant and growing.
